Paul G. Hyman Jr. (born 17 September 1954) is a former Chief United States District Judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Southern District of Florida. He previously served as the Chief Judge of the Court and currently serves as the co-Chairperson of the Bankruptcy Judicial Liaison Committee of the Florida Bar.

Biography
Hyman received a Bachelor degree in economics from Vanderbilt University in 1974. He received a Juris Doctor in 1977 from the University of Miami School of Law. He began his legal career as an assistant attorney for the Britton Cohen Kaufman & Schantz from 1977 to 1979. Hyman then served as an assistant district attorney for Southern County, Florida from 1979 to 1980, and was in private practice for Britton Cohen Kaufman & Schantz for the next two years. He relocated to Denver in 1983 to join the Holme Roberts & Owens. In 1993, Hyman was nominated to serve as a United States District Judge of the Southern District of Florida and became Chief Judge in 2006.
Hyman currently serves as the Co-Chairperson of the Bankruptcy Judicial Liaison Committee and a member of the Business Law Section's executive council and the Archives and History Committee of the Florida Bar.

Personal life
He is married to former actress and model, Kelly Hyman, who is an attorney/Lawyer at Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart and Shipley in West Palm Beach, Florida and had boy girl twins Zachary and Kaylee with his late wife.
